Yeah, it's what they ALL say  that's becoming quite apparent, actually haha. i've stayed true to the knot so far, but to say "maggot for life" is basically like saying "so what ELSE is trendy?" Yeah I see your point. I used to think Slipknot would be my favorite band forever... Now im getting back to modern metals roots, and listening to a LOOOOT of DEATH. I swear to god if anyone asks me who DEATH is, you deserve to die, and you are not a real metal head. |

i'm still a fan who loves slipknot. Their new album was definetly the best one yet. I love Joey's Drumming and Corey Taylor's voice in the All Hope is Gone CD.

imm only 12 and ive been listening to them since 2000!!! i got all of their dvds......(even tha ones that arent authorized) all of their shirts and all of thier cds(even MFKR) imm a proud maggot 'til tha day Slipknot ends the world xD

I'm still a fan and always will me and while all hope is gone does have it's strong points I am still not a big fan of the soft stuff. From a musical standpoint, slipknot is amazing in every aspect. But what bothers me is that 10 years ago they sat there and said " Fuck the industry if you don't like my shit you can choke on a goat dick and die" but now 75% of that soft shit is to sell more albums. Case in point; Dead Memories. That song written only for the intent of being "radio-friendly" just listen to it closely and you can tell

But that's fucking impossible, they were screwed from the start if they didn't change they wouldve gotten boring if they do change they get accused of selling out because people are fucking sheep. They want to be "rebels" but just move on to the next trendy thing. Which right now is being untrendy. |
